My last day of teaching was one week ago. There’s lots to talk about still, but my Internet connection is a little spotty now that I’ve moved out of my apartment. I will provide new entries and status updates with as much regularity as I can manage.
What the hell is going on?
"Worse Than Coleslaw" is about this American guy who teaches English in a backwater town in northern Japan. Said guy is maybe a little weird. Wacky hijinks ensue.
Update: After seven months as an English teacher and another month of nomadic wandering across two continents, Mr. Blithe is back in the United States! He's been having a great time eating burritos and Cadbury Creme Eggs and contemplating the future angle of "Worse Than Coleslaw" now that that whole "Japan" thing is over and done with. Also, he would really like it if you could maybe give him a job.

Just watched a few episodes of that FX cartoon "Archer." It is pretty hilarious.

I love checking out books from the TCC library because none of them have ever been opened. Pages are so crisp and it all still feels new.

Where are you staying then?
Right now I am staying at a ratbox hotel in Osaka that is actually pretty nice considering it only costs 2500 yens per night.
